The House of Commons Service is offering numerous placements in the academic year 2014/15 for Sandwich course students. These are within:

The Department of HR and Change x 1 placement. This is a Human Resource focused placement. The successful student will work with both central and departmental HR sections.

The Department of Chamber and Committee Services x 1 placement. This is a research based placement supporting one or two Select Committees within the Committee Support Service in the Department of Chamber & Committee Services.

The Department of Information Services x 2 placements.
Parliamentary Outreach - The purpose of this placement is to support the Project Manager with the running of the new ‘Universities Workstream’ and usual departmental business.

Social and General Statistics - This is a statistics based placement supporting the Social and General Statistics arm of Information Services. The successful student will assist the section’s statisticians in their work and conduct research for topics depending on events and interests in Parliament.

The Department of Facilities x 5 placements. The Department of Facilities will be offering five placements. The positions will be within the building Maintenance Team and the Projects Delivery Team.
