Autocar-Courland Next Generation Award is a national campaign to identify, support and develop top automotive talent for the future. You are invited to answer a brief set by Autocar's editor-in-chief Steve Cropley. In no more than 500 words, you are asked to describe an improvement, be it an invention, innovation or a legislative change which you believe will be a benefit to the automotive business.
The winner will be awarded one month's work experience at Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Peugeot, Skoda andToyotaalong with a cash prize of £7,500. This will be a unique opportunity for the winner to acquire the contacts, experience - and perhaps even a job offer! Oliver Brunt (the 2011 winner of the award) has just finished his stint at McLaren's engineering department and is currently at PeugeotUK.
