The British Council in Turkey is partnering with TUBITAK under the Newton-Katip Çelebi Fund to offer UK PhD students placements in Turkey, as part of TUBITAK's PhD programme.

Closing date

Applications can be submitted between 16 March and 20 April 2015.

Eligibility

Please read the TUBITAK website for full eligibility criteria.

Main eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in the UK
• Applications will be accepted by PhD students in the Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technological Sciences, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities.
• Applicants cannot be Turkish citizens
• Applicants require an invitation from the university or research institution in Turkey that they plan to work at during the placement
