Stephen Lawrence Trainee Reporters/Sub Editor Scholarships

In conjunction with the Daily Mail, Britain’s most successful newspaper group, The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust is offering this unprecedented opportunity for aspiring Journalists.

• We are looking for bright, sharp, intelligent would-be journalists who believe they can be fast tracked to the very top.
• You will be on the best journalism course in the business and will be paid a competitive salary while you train.
• All applications will be considered on merit but we strongly encourage applicants from:
  • A lower income household
  • Who have attended a state (non-fee paying) school
  • Are the first generation of their immediate family to attend university
• Applicants must be available to start at the end of August and the course will last for 14 months, after which you will be considered for a full-time post.
