Is your society ready to play?

On the 2 February we will be launching our Cryptic Campus competition, 30 fiendishly cryptic canvases representing 30 individual universities, of which your university is one.

We are contacting you because this year we’ve put societies at the heart of the game. We’ll be challenging students to solve as many of our cryptic clues as possible in an attempt to win one of 12 iPad mini’s we are giving away. Our challenge to you is to recruit and persuade as many of those students as possible to play on your behalf!

Each registered student will equal one point for the society they register on behalf of. At the end of the competition, the society with the most registered players will win the top prize of £5,000, 2nd most will get £2,000 and 3rd most £1,000. So there’s plenty of reasons to play!

We are doing this because we know that societies are the lifeblood of campus culture, as well as primers for the future. Nothing better prepares you for a life after uni than working collaboratively, sharing ideas, solving problems, and achieving goals – essential skills in business too.

And just like the world of business, there’s one obstacle that keeps societies from reaching their potential: cash flow. That’s why we’re giving your society the opportunity to prove itself and win essential funds for growth.

Register your society now and find out more about the competition and how it works. We’ve attached below, cover photos for your social channels as well as images to post when you’re drumming up support. With the game going live on 2 February we encourage you to be creative and really engage your networks to play on your society’s behalf.

Are you ready for Cryptic Campus?

Good luck.
