Aspiring solicitors in the second year of a law degree have until 31 July 2014 to apply to most commercial law firms – a few firms have earlier deadlines. We’ve drawn up a list of training contract deadlines to help you prioritise your applications.

Why are we telling you this in May?

Because we regularly speak to graduate recruiters who tell us that they start inviting candidates to assessment centres and interviews well before these deadlines – now’s the time to start your research before applications open on 1 June.
